The Haystacks and the Two Masters

Van Gogh painted this haystack the same summer Monet created his famous series. He will never know Monet got rich with wheat. Both painted in a sort of frenzy. Van Gogh was making one painting a day. Monet was working across 25 canvases at the same time. Monet didn't really care about the wheat stacks beside their ability to catch light.
