Everyone Loses It Over Blossoms
Blossom season makes everyone a little crazy. You see it happen every year. Grown adults stopping on sidewalks to take photos of trees. People pulling over on the highway. Your neighbor suddenly caring about that one branch hanging over the fence. Monet was no different. Except he had oil paint. This is Vétheuil, 1879. Fruit trees exploding all at once. That one week where everything blooms at the same time and the whole village looks like it's floating. He didn't plan this. You can't plan blossom season. You just drop everything and go. The paint is thick, fast, almost messy. Because he knew.
