Van Gogh: The Beautiful Countdown
When van Gogh left the asylum, he also left Provence behind. Too hot, too much wind. He associated it with his attacks. He went to Auvers, already home of Pissarro, not far from Paris and Theo. There, Doctor Gachet encouraged him to paint as therapy. So he went into a frenzy. One painting a day if not more. Les Vessenots in Auvers is one of those. A colored landscape, like most of his last paintings. He was found dead 29 days after this one. 🎨 EcoArtLab — Frame TV & Printable Art Transform your space with museum-quality digital art ##vangogh#vangoghart#arthistory#countdownart#lastdays
