Pissarro: the Rent Strategy

Pissarro would have loved Home renting Platforms. He spent his last 20 years in Eragny, deep in the countryside, but kept renting rooms and flats all over Paris. The logic was simple: stay home in summer and paint outside as long as the weather stayed easy on his eyes, then rent a place for winter and paint from the window. Windows and views, that was the only criteria that mattered. This one came from his flat at 204 Rue de Rivoli.
