Van Gogh Needed Green

Holland was brown. Dark, heavy, slow. Then Paris happened. Not all at once. First brown got lighter. Dark became grey. Colors started coming in, like he was learning how to handle them without getting burned. Then he just went all in. This is one of those days. Impressionism all over it, a few dots thrown in for his Pointillist friends. But mostly green. Just green everywhere. He needed green the way you sometimes need to get outside, or call someone, or just move.
